Stirling Uni Orienteering Club (STUOC) is aimed at people of all levels of orienteering experience from beginners to elites. We run closely with Forth Valley Orienteering Club to provide weekly trainings and socials. We attend competitions ranging from local leagues to the British Championships! Student competitions including Scottish Student Championships and BUCS are the highlight of our year! We also love to take part in hill races across the year finishing with the Dumyat Hill Race in May.
STUOC could be the perfect club for you if you love exploring new places and enjoy fast paced thinking. We don’t just geek at maps however! You can also join us if you enjoy social runs/adventures in the hills and local forests.
Training and coaching sessions are planned to introduce people into the sport and to improve the skills of existing orienteers. Nav training takes place on a Wednesday morning at 9am in different local terrains. Running training takes place on Thursday evenings. We also train informally throughout the week.
Make sure to follow our socials to keep up to date!
