Adopt a Society

1. Choose a society.

2. Find a president, secretary and treasurer. (If you can’t find all three positions, still fill out this form and select ‘no’ when asked if you have a committee prepared, and we’ll let you know if anyone else expresses interest in the society.) 

3. Submit an application (application form can be found below). 

4. Meet with Activities & Volunteer Coordinator & VP Communities to discuss what running a society entails, and read our society handbook. 

5. We will contact you with the society's constitution so that you can amend this if necessary. 

6. Submit your revival plan - this will be emailed to you upon completion of the Adopt a Society application. The revival plan will include: 

   • Logo 

   • Social media details

   • GIAG idea 

   • General plan for meetings 

Note that if other people have registered their interest in adopting the same society, you will be connected with them.
