Video Games Society

Who we are

This is the Video Game Society (GSoc), the place to go to play, watch or discuss video games at Stirling. We have a variety of consoles and games both as a society and as committee members, so come along and have a go!

If you're looking for a group to play online or somebody to discuss gaming with then our Discord server is the place for you (https://discord.gg/Xmxhe8Y). This is also where you can give us feedback and suggestions about what we should do differently and what games you think we should get.

Events are also announced on the Discord, the announcements usualy detail the room and time of the events among other information.

If you're looking for local multiplayer, socialising and a bit of friendly competition then you want our weekly (semester time) meetups. Join us from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Tuesdays for a selection of games to try out and a chance to meet fellow gaming enthusiasts. Weekly friendly tournaments in a wide variety of games starting at 7pm. If you have a game you want to play but need more players then this is also the event for you. All our events are in Cottrell room C.2X4 (AKA C.2X4/6) unless the anouncements say otherwise.

As well as this we plan to have a bigger gaming event later in the semester which will also be announced on our Discord.
