About Us:

The Psychology Society is a student-run society for anyone interested in psychology. We welcome anyone and everyone with a sense of curiosity towards human behaviour!

Our meetings run on Tuesdays at 5:00pm (17:00) in C3.A94, although this may be subject to change so keep an eye on our Instagram for any updates. We aim to build a sense of community for Stirling psychology students and anyone who shares an interest in the diverse and ever-evolving field of psychology by offering a space to support each other through the upcoming years. We hope to offer support to students by working with the university to host events that will guide you through your studies as well as host discussions and mini-lectures for anyone interested in learning more from our wonderful staff and fellow students. We are also excited to host various socials in person this year in which you can get to know our wonderful members!

Membership is £5 for the whole academic year - an absolute bargain for what you'll get out of it.

Week 10 Meeting: Movie Screening

3 Identical Strangers Screening

This week we are collabing with the Psychology Department to screen the psychology documentary 3 Identical Strangers. We will be supplying snacks and opportunities to meet with our committee and some Psychology Department staff.

Week 11 Social: Games night

Join us this week for a games night social.

Week 12 Fundraising: Movember Stall

For Movember, we are collabing with the Art Society this year. We will be in the stall with information about mental health and the chance for you to pin the mustache on the committee member and have yourself immortalised as a characature drawn by our lovely Art Society members. Make sure to bring your change and notes as unfortunately we can only accept cash!

When: Tuesday 26th November, 12-6pm

Week 12 Social: Art Therapy Session

After our stall, join us for a joint social with the Art Club where they will be leading a theraputic art session. This is a perfect opportunity to relax and learn a new method to decompress.

When: Tuesday 26th November, 6pm

Where: TBC

Week 13 Social: Study Session

Exam period is upon us so join us for our final session this semester. Its a chill session where we will be focusing on prepping for our exams and assignments. So come along to join us in mutually suffering.

When: Tuesday 3rd December, 5pm
