Welcome to the Stirling University Islamic Society (SUIS)!

SUIS is all about community, connection and belonging. We’re here to bring people together, help you meet new friends and create a welcoming space where you can enjoy university life alongside people who share your values.

Whether you’re looking for a place to practise your faith, learn more about Islam, make friends or simply get involved in something new, you’re always welcome. Our community includes people from different backgrounds, cultures and levels of faith, and we aim to make sure everyone who comes along feels comfortable and included.

Throughout the year, we organise a wide range of socials, activities, trips, charity projects and Islamic events for brothers and sisters. From games nights and sports to fundraising, dinners and educational talks, there’s always something to get involved with. During Ramadan, we also organise iftars and special events so that students can experience the month together as a community.

University can sometimes feel overwhelming or isolating, especially when you’re away from home. That’s why SUIS is about more than just events. We want to create a genuine home away from home where friendships are formed, people look out for one another and everyone has a community they can turn to.

Whether you’ve been involved with an Islamic Society before or you’ve never stepped foot in one, come along and see what SUIS is about.
