We're the Creative Writing Society and we do what it says on the tin - we get together to chat about our works, gain new ideas, and of course, write!
We have weekly meetings based on submissions and workshops, so the first half would be reading through a piece of work that has been submitted and offering constructive criticism and the other half would be a writing exercise to get the old brain box going. We don't take ourselves too seriously and are usually game for a laugh but we also understand that a piece of writing can be important and very meaningful to someone. We allow anonymous submissions and aim to publish at least one anthology every year. We do (voluntary) writing challenges and competitions for writers of all kinds!
Meetings on Mondays 7-9 pm and a Wednesday drop-in session from 5-8 pm!
