WELCOME TO SULHC!
The Stirling University's Ladies Hockey Club (SULHC) is the one of the largest female clubs in the sports union and is always looking for and welcoming new members!
We currently consist of three teams; all of which play on a Wednesday in the BUCS league.
The 1st XI also play in the National League at the weekend, while the 2nd XI play in the Midland League.
The club aims to encourage participation and cater for all playing standards. So even if you haven’t picked up a hockey stick before come along and have a go.
Although we train hard we party even harder. The hockey club is THE social club; whilst having many socials organised throughout the year (often involved the Mens Hockey Club) we also fundraise throughout the year so that we can go on an annual tour in June. The last few years have seen us visit Madrid, Malta and Llorret de Mar.
Please do not be nervous, we welcome everyone to the club! So if you have played hockey for years or never before, please feel free to come along to any of the training times provided and give it a go whilst meeting the club :)
