From flat water kayaking and open canoeing on the loch to multi-day descents and big river running, the University of Stirling Kayak Club has something for everyone. Catering for complete beginner to those with experience looking to push their grade, we have the instructors and the rivers on our door step to achieve all you want to and more. The club has access to the pool twice weekly for those wishing to perfect their skills or learn news ones in a safe and warm environment. A new shed and £18,000 of new gear are at the disposal of the members along with an experienced and dedicated team. Those with a competitive streak will enjoy the fast paced game of canoe polo with our very own squad who compete nationally. The club runs several international kayaking trips to white water destinations in the Alps, Slovenia, Italy and Norway providing the opportunity to experience some of the best paddling Europe has to offer. With a jam-packed social calendar, pub crawls, barbeques by the loch and the annual naked calendar, you’ll find it hard not to get wet with the boats, bevies’ and banter.
