UNION POLL

Hi, I’m Robbie. If you don’t know me, I’m the guy always bugging my friends to come out and party. I’m from Inverness, Scotland and have always enjoyed being involved with, organising, planning and taking part in nights out. I have several ideas planned for this position, hopefully they will keep and the union and campus on top form for the coming year. • Organised sponsored nights on campus for the entertainment of halls and whoever is still partying after Studio/Glow in order to benefit a cause worth partying for. • Weekly themed nights at the union to support regular events, from St Patrick’s to Fresher’s and onto Re-Fresher’s again. • Bring a new look to the union which will hopefully be appreciated Personally I would like to see more live music events at the union, however these nights tend to be very difficult to pull of successfully. Therefore I would appreciate your support when these events occur. Tuesday – Themed Night, I’m open to suggestions for this night but it will normally be related to what is going on at the time. Wednesday – Sports Night. Thursday – Rock Night. Friday – Punch Studio, Alter Ego Glow. Saturday – Sports Night. Sunday – Pub Games, finishing with the ever popular pub quiz. This is position would give me a unique opportunity to make a mark on the union, again hopefully for the better. I can only hope that I have the support to make this upcoming year a fun and exciting time on Campus. Thanks for reading,
My view on a week at the union would be:
Monday – Open Mic Night in Studio and the currently successful drink promotions in Glow.
