I have been on the front line of the fight against the introduction of top up fees in Scotland. I have fought with the Scottish executive for free prescriptions for students and to create the only student focussed mental health campaign in Scotland. I have lobbied the blood service to overturn their ban on gay men giving blood and I’ve been fighting for our rights as students at uni and in general life for the past four years. As president I will continue to ensure student views are heard at all levels and our student lives made better. Your Money Your Campus Your World Have it your way – Vote Kevin for President
• You want to make sure the Scottish executive does not introduce top up fees in Scotland and you want all political parties to commit to this in their 2007 manifestos?
• You want more grants for students including money for textbooks and course materials?
• You want to abolish the compulsory £3 subscription for clubs and socs?
• You want to fight for cheaper accommodation?
• You want free prescriptions for all students?
• You want the right to have a choice how your student loans are paid to you?
• You want to to get a big discount off your food shopping and have a free bus to take you there and back?
• You want the university to stock more of each core text in the library?
• You want breast feeding and child play rooms on campus?
• You want car parking for students who need it?
• You want proper study facilities for pathfoot students?
• You want to ensure that the university never makes a decision that affects students without asking us first?
• You want Scottish Mental Health First Aid training available to halls and flat assistants?
• You want more fair-trade goods in the union and the university to become a fair-trade university with ethical investment policies?
• You want support for the satellite campuses to elect their own susa rep so their voices are not forgotten?
• You want your Wednesday afternoons free for sport and other activities?
• You want sponsorship for sports clubs and societies?
• You want the right entertainments, at the right prices?
• You want SUSA to work with Stirling council to clamp down on dodgy landlords?
• You want free trade union advice for students in Edinburgh to be extended to you in Stirling?
• You want SUSA to continue the fight against facism and racism and launch an anti sectarianism campaign?
• You want better access to recycling facilities?
