► Michael Dunn Manifesto
Michael Dunn's manifesto for ethics and environment officer I will set down a five point plan of my aims if I get this position. 1. I will promote the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on campus. These values are applicable to the way we live and should not be forgotten. 2. I will investigate the university’s finances to find out if it is investing its money ethically. If not I will seek to get policy changed so that it is more ethical. 3. I will work with members of staff to improve the university’s environmental record and avoid a repeat of this year’s performance in the green league. 4. I will promote green living on campus. 5. I will seek to carry out all these aims in a way that is democratic in that it carries out the will of the students and that is anti-discriminatory at all times. This aims are in no way exclusive and I will respond to events unseen with the same values I have expressed above. I want this position because it overlaps with the work I am already doing. As the convenor of the I am well versed on these issues. I am passionate about these issues.
